World Reef Awareness Day : Save Coral Reef, Save Ecosystem

World Reef Day gives us a choice to know and protect our ocean’s coral reef. It is through bringing us organizations, customers, and businesses with their awareness and activation to effect positive change for our world’s reef.

Founder & CEO of Raw Element, Mr. Brian Guadagno has partnered with Hawaiian Airlines and Aqua-Aston Hospitality to launch the World Reef Day. So on June 1,2019 we held our World Reef Awareness Day which was proclaimed on 16th May in the same year.

Raw Element USA, a California-based reef-safe sunscreen company launched their product non -nano zinc oxide-based sunscreen, on June 1 World Reef Awareness Day in support of its focus on sustainability, responsibility, and education. So the goal of the day is to shed light on the state of coral reefs worldwide .It brings us the importance of coral reefs with the ideas how we can protect them by launching it.

Organization that is making difference in the future also encourage customers & businesses to get involved in that matter such as:

1. Haereticus Environment Laboratory – It focuses on increasing scientific social, economic, and knowledge of environmental habitat. Also, it is a non-profit organization that conserves and restores threats related to that habitat resources.

2. The Friends of Hanauma Bay – Coastlines and marine environment conservation which emphasizes stewardship were dedicated by a group of Hanauma Bay.

Ecosystems are made within coral reefs that are full of life and beauty with nutrients to support it. When it comes to the topic of the ocean and it’s economy, coral reef plays a vital role forming with colonies polyps held together by calcium carbonate. So, coral reefs build the most bio-diverse marine ecosystem, home to plankton & algae to largest sea creatures. In addition to that, types of Coral reefs are –

As the world steps toward the future; Health, Management, and Conservation rises some fundamental issues and a real challenge to biology and mankind. Monitoring, Search and Restoration are necessary to protect or save gourd coral reef.The legal mechanism may be necessary as we need to establish Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) because MPAs have the added force of law behind them.Ultimately a protected marine ecosystem supporter like coral reef system may stand a better change to survival. Hence, again remaining that World Reef Awareness Day aims to raise awareness about fundamental issues of coral reefs.
